Jen Koss loved Kena Paranjape’s blog and asked if they could meet for coffee. Many coffees later, they realized that they shared the same passion – to reinvent the crafts space, and so decided to co-found a company. Their vision was further validated when they were awarded top honors for their idea at the HBS Business Plan Competition.
BRIKA is a unique online shopping destination that offers a curated selection of special pieces and celebrates the makers behind them. BRIKA has captured the imagination of women by combining world class design, beautiful imagery, a rich immersive brand experience, and a brilliant business model.
BrandProject partnered with Jen and Kena to bring their vision to life. We worked on naming, branding, positioning and segmentation, the business model, customer acquisition, web design, supply chain and fundraising.
